Hashing Out the Law - Meet the Criminal Court Bar Association: Carey Caruso

Carey Caruso was among those who graduated in the 1st Whittier Law School
Class of 1978. Since then, he has been in private practice specializing
in criminal defense work with emphasis on drug and alcohol aspects of
criminal behavior. Carey is the current president of the CCBA. He is also
a past president of the Italian American Lawyers Association, past Chief
of the Viking Charities and member of the Criminal Courts Bar Association
and the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. He has received the
Promises Foundation’s Bob Timmins Outstanding Service Award, the
Whittier Law School Alumni Association’s Humanitarian Service Award,
and the Criminal Court Bar Association’s Mort Herbert Service Award.
